Andrei Arlovski vs Soa Palelei set for ONE FC: 'Pride of a Nation' August 31, 2012 Araneta Coliseum Manila, Philippines
Former UFC champions Andrei Arlovski and Jens Pulver are both heading to ONE FC: 'Destiny of Warriors' in Manila on August 31st and their opponents are reportedly confirmed. The Belarusian will be taking on Australia's Soa Palelei while the American is going up against Filipino Eric Kelly.
Palalei is a CFC veteran, the reigning AFC heavyweight champion and his status as the number one heavyweight in Australia is well established. He is 17-3, has fought for both the UFC and Pride and is riding a seven fight win streak although he will be in for a step up in opposition against Arlvovski.
Eric Kelly is arguably the top fighter in the Philippines at the moment, has a perfect professional record of 7-0 and is coming off ONE FC wins against Mitch Chilson and Bae Young Kwon. He is the reigning URCC featherweight champion and will get a chance to claim a win over a former UFC champion when he takes on Pulver.

This is awesome news, I live in Singapore, wish the event was here or KL easier for me to get to, thinking about going!
Wonder if andrei will do any training or appearances here before going to Philippines for the fight first, I certainly hope so!
